At the end of Court Street, right before the BQE, you’ll find Caputo’s Fine Foods, a tiny Italian specialties store that turns out some of the most delicious fresh mozzarella and ricotta in Brooklyn. Both items are must haves when visiting the shop.
The prepared foods are also all stellar, as are the olives, oils and fresh and frozen pastas. If you’re a grilled, marinated artichoke lover, you won’t find a better rendition than at this shop. The grill marks on these artichokes are real, and impart a smoky, charcoal-like flavor to the already delicious thistles.
While on the pricier side, one bite of the food and you’ll understand what you’re paying for.
